In support of Board Resolution 011-24/25 Safe, Sustainable Streets: Walk & Roll to School, we’re excited to invite your school to participate in Clean Air Day 2025 and National Walk & Roll to School Day 2025.

This is an opportunity to engage students, families, and staff in promoting healthier habits, safer streets, and cleaner air for our communities.

Clean Air Day is on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. We hope this day can kick off a weeklong campaign to raise awareness about the importance of air quality and empower students to make choices that positively impact the environment. You can take the pledge for your school [here] and encourage your students and staff to do the same.

The week culminates with National Walk & Roll to School Day on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, when students and staff are encouraged to walk, bike, or roll to school—reducing vehicle emissions and promoting physical activity.

At Fairburn, we will meet on the corner of Westholme and Rochester at 7:45 a.m. and walk around the school to support the day.
