Why Attendance Matters

Attending school every day is one of the simplest and most effective ways to help your child succeed. To support this, we ask families to please plan vacations outside of school days and schedule doctor’s appointments outside of class time whenever possible. Of course, if your child is truly sick, it’s best for them to stay home and recover—but in all other cases, being present in class each day makes a big difference.

Here’s why consistent attendance matters:

📈 Boosts Academic Success
Every lesson builds on the one before. Missing even a single day can make it harder for students to keep up, while steady attendance helps them master skills with confidence.

💬 Builds Social Skills & Friendships
School is more than academics—it’s where children learn teamwork, communication, and how to build lasting friendships. Being present helps kids feel included and connected.

🗓️ Creates Healthy Routines & Responsibility
Coming to school on time establishes routines that foster focus, organization, and responsibility—important life skills that last well beyond the classroom.

🚀 Opens Future Opportunities
Strong attendance not only leads to better grades but also sets students on a path to long-term success. Colleges, scholarships, and future careers all value reliability and commitment.

✨ Every day in school is a step toward success! 🌟
